Dr. Lute Croy is finishing up his 20th year in public education. In that time, he has worked as a teacher, coach, instructional coach, and administrator. He has a bachelor’s degree in history and psychology from Southern Methodist University, a master’s degree in educational leadership from Lamar University, and a doctorate in organizational leadership from Abilene Christian University. Currently, he is an assistant principal at Prosper High School in Prosper, Texas, where he serves a student body of roughly 3,800 students.
Dr. Croy is passionate about developing new and aspiring school administrators, which is what led him to co-creating the New School Leader with his long-time best friend, and talented school leader, Brett Phipps. The mission of the New School Leader is to help new and aspiring administrators take the next step in their leadership journey…whatever that step may be.
